If your results are acceptable, the School will fax/mail
you a LETTER OF OFFER which will outline the course details, list all
fees involved (including enrolment fee, transport

bond and fees for two weeks Homestay accommodation. If the applicant is under 18
years of age, a guardianship letter signed by our Principal will be
included.
To formalise the enrolment, you or your parents/guardian
will need to lodge the required
fees with Blackfriars Priory School. Bank details
will be included on the Letter of Offer.
When monies have been received, Blackfriars Priory School
will then send you a RECEIPT and the Australian Government CONFIRMATION OF
ENROLMENT FORM FOR OVERSEAS STUDENTS which are needed to apply for a Visa.
You and your parents/guardian will need to take or send the CONFIRMATION
OF ENROLMENT FORM, RECEIPT and LETTER OF OFFER (including the guardianship
letter) to the Australian Embassy in your capital city.
You will be required to complete documentation for your
Visa. The Australian Embassy will begin Visa issue procedures after they
have received all documentation from you. The Australian Embassy may ask
you to come in for an interview.
Once you have obtained your visa, and all documentation is
complete, you are to notify
Blackfriars Priory School of the date of your arrival.
In general terms, there are two
start dates for those wishing to commence in Years 11 and 12 at
Blackfriars Priory School. These dates are at the beginning of the Year
(30
Jan 2008)
and also at the beginning of Semester 2 (16 June 2008) after
successfully completing a minimum of 20 weeks at the English Bridging
Course (if required).
If the level of English required to enter Year 11 or 12 has not
been attained, the student may need to commence at a lower year
level at Blackfriars Priory School and their contract may need to be
re-negotiated.
