I am very pleased to share the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) Stage 2 results for 2017. I am delighted with the academic achievements of our 2017 Year 12 students. I congratulate each student on their achievements and wish all the graduates of 2017 every success for the future.
Equally important, I would like to recognise the effort and endeavour of our Year 12 students and the way they have collaborated with their teachers to achieve their results. Supported by parents and families, Blackfriars Priory School promotes a holistic vision of education with a balance of effort, participation and achievement in spiritual, academic, co-curricular activities and social justice pursuits. The engagement of our Year 12 students in broader school life, including leadership of younger students in the Four Pillars of Prayer, Study, Service and Community has been commendable and is the hallmark of a Dominican education.
Congratulations to the teaching and education support staff who have taught, inspired and nurtured our Year 12 students, not only in 2017, but throughout their time at Blackfriars. The contributions of all staff is recognised and appreciated.
On behalf of our Dominican Community, I wish the Year 12 students of 2017 a faith inspired and successful future beyond the gates of Blackfriars Priory School.
Mr Simon Cobiac
