Blackfriars provides for the education of boys from Reception (5 years old) to Year 12.  Student intakes occur in Reception and Year 6 in the primary years, and in Year 8 in the secondary years.  Enrolments are accepted at all other levels in primary and secondary where places are available.

The primary, middle and senior secondary sections of the school are uniquely situated on the one campus at 17 Prospect Road, Prospect and today Blackfriars has a current student population of nearly 1000 students.
