Blackfriars is centrally located just 3km north of Adelaide Post Office. It is well served by bus and railway services.

Bus services

Serco Adelaide Buses run a school service from Elizabeth Railway Station via Salisbury Highway to North Adelaide. The service is called "School Bus J". The bus leaves Elizabeth Station at 7.25am and arrives at Blackfriars (Stop 8) on Prospect Road at 8.19am. On the return journey, this service leaves Blackfriars at 3.44pm and arrives at the Elizabeth Railway Station at 4.40pm.

TransAdelaide Bus 182 runs along Prospect Road every 15-20 minutes and stops in front of the School Gates.

TransAdelaide Buses 222 - 229 travel along Main North Road and stop within 400m of the school.

A staff member is on duty at the school bus stop to ensure the safe departure of all students.

Train

The Gawler Rail line is easily accessed from the Ovingham or Adelaide Railway stations, while other rail lines are accessed from Adelaide's central railway station - a short Bus trip from Blackfriars.
