Sport

Blackfriars has a well-equipped, modern gymnasium, which is the focus for many sporting activities. We are fortunate in having the parklands facilities close by, and the school has developed football, cricket and soccer grounds for the school's use. They provide much of the scope for our sports programs, particularly on weekends.

In the centre of the parkland playing fields stands the Adelaide Aquatic Centre, much used by the school for competition and leisure activities.

The school is a member of the Independent Schools Sports Association (ISSA) and participates against other independent schools in organised competition.

Sport in our school is an important part of a full and balanced education for our boys. Blackfriars supports the ISSA Code of Behaviour in Sport for Players and Spectators.
