Pastoral Care House System Origin of House names Chaplain Counselling Services School Assembly

school assembly

A full School Assembly is held once a month in the Neill Gymnasium. The purpose of the school Assembly is to bring together the whole school community of staff and students.

The Dean of Pastoral Care or Chaplain leads the assembly in prayer and addresses the assembly on general matters that arise in the course of the week. Other members of staff and visiting speakers may also use this opportunity to address the assembly on matters connected with their own area of interest.

Year level assemblies are scheduled once a month and provide opportunities for students to lead a prayer service, Year Level Coordinators to address the cohort on matters pertaining to the year level, and present other speakers and details relevant to the year level.
